Understanding the Concept of Strategies, Vaults, Agents and Accounts.

Strategy

A Strategy is a modular logic unit built to maximize yield from specific DeFi pools. Strategies can be added, updated, or removed from Vaults to optimize returns based on current market conditions.

Vault

A Vault manages capital allocations and DeFi strategies. It serves as the execution layer for automated investment decisions, rebalancing funds based on agent instructions.

Agent

An Agent orchestrates Vaults and their Strategies. It can also manage a user's Account, but only with explicit approval from the account owner. Agents think, plan, and act autonomously through AI-powered reasoning integrated with Alith.

Account

The Account is a fully on-chain, user-controlled smart wallet. It allows users to maintain complete ownership of their assets while interacting with autonomous agents.

Agents are granted explicit permission to:

• Allocate funds from the Account into one of their managed Vaults

• Transfer funds from a Vault back to the Account

This permissioned structure ensures secure delegation of control, enabling agents to execute intelligent capital strategies while preserving user sovereignty.
